چکیده
The fabrication of bio-composite-derived bovine amniotic membrane (BAM) with hydroxyapatite (HAp) is an approach to combining organic and inorganic bio-material improve the properties both materials. This research aims combine, fabricate characterise bio-composite BAM–HA. combination made from BAM HAp in a ratio 30:70, 35:65, 40:60. Dried immersed saline then blended until it forms slurry jelly-like consistency. At this stage, added so that can bind BAM. After mixture homogeneous, freeze-drying process carried out. fabrication, all bio-composites were characterised using Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) porosity analysis, biological activity was conducted fibroblasts. has functional groups amides I, II, III, A, B, OH, CO32− PO43− according results FTIR. XRD analysis showed presence HAP crystals. group crystal indicate these two materials are bound. An SEM examination revealed variety porous patterns on surface area. at 35:65 higher mean pore size 155.625 µm 89.23% maintain fibroblast viability 95.14%. In conclusion, study successfully combined bio-materials HAp, which have potential synergistic effects soft hard tissue regeneration. good characteristics non-toxic.

متن کاملSintering Behavior and Kinetic Evaluation of Hydroxyapatite Bio-ceramics from Bovine Bone
The Sintering behavior and kinetic evaluation of the bio-ceramics from bovine bone are investigated by stepwise isothermal dilatometry (SID), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The isothermal shrinkage data obtained from SID could be well analyzed to get kinetic parameters according to the empirical rate equation developed by Makipirtti-Meng, dY/dt = nk(T)Y(1-Y)[Y/(...
متن کاملPalladium composite membrane with high reversibility of CO2 poisoning
A palladium membrane was prepared using the electroless plating technique (ELP) for the separation and purification of hydrogen from a gas mixture. Depending on operating conditions, hydrogen flux from the membrane was in the range of 0.012-0.023 mol.m-2.s-1. The membrane performance in the presence of CO2 was investigated. The results of the GC analysis showed that at a feed concentration of 1...
متن کاملThe Effect of Lyophilization on Light Transmission of Amniotic Membrane: A Comparison with Rabbit Cornea
Background & Aims: Amniotic membrane persists for a long time after ocular transplantation (as corneal substitute) and can affect light transmission (transparency). The aim of this study was to evaluate the transparency of amniotic membrane after freeze-drying (lyophilization) and to compare the results with transparency of rabbit cornea. Methods: Transparency of rabbits’ corneas and fresh and ...

Objecttive(s): Despite the poor mechanical properties of hydroxyapatite, its unique biological properties leads we think about study on improving its properties rather than completely replacing it with other biomaterials. Accordingly, in this study we introduced hydroxyapatite reinforced with hardystonite as a novel bio-nanocompositeand evaluate its in-vitro bioactivity with the aim of developi...
